Home Organization: Stylish Laundry Rooms

(via Ballard Designs)

LAUNDRY ROOMS need to be practical and efficient spaces. Here are some smart storage solutions to help you complete your cleaning chores in style.

An adjustable shelving unit is ideal for laundry rooms without built-in storage.

A wall mounted, expandable drying rack is a smart option for small spaces.

Use the back of a laundry room door for neatly storing cleaning supplies.

Canvas bins are perfect for hiding items you'd rather not have on display.

Consider adding a counter above your washer and dryer for folding fresh laundry.

To optimize space, install a built-in ironing board in a recessed wall or shallow cabinet.

This is one of my all-time favorite laundry rooms.  Every inch of space has been used for maximum efficency.  An oversized picture frame has been hung to cleverly conceal an ugly electrical panel.

This is my dream laundry room.  An island for folding clothes, plenty of closed storage, pretty accessories, and the added luxury of a television make this a space anyone would enjoy spending time in.

I hope these stylish storage solutions help you create the perfectly organized LAUNDRY ROOM of your dreams!

Wendi, I use to call my laundry room the pit until I painted it the same soothing color as my master bedroom. Even a laundry room can look better with a favorite color on the walls. I did a mini makeover and I just ordered a new element to add to the mix. Still have to add it to the room!! Great line-up of pretty laundry rooms. For some reason the post I did on laundry rooms was an all time fav. of my readers. I am sure this post will be a fav of your readers as well.
Happy Wednesday,
Kathysue

Great ideas. I have no cupboards in my laundry room, and need somewhere to store things. I like the idea of a shelving unit I can install myself.
