Hi Wendi, my kitchen and sitting area is mainly black and I wondered if I would tire of it. It has been 3 years and I still love it! It seems to me to be elegant. Beautiful examples:)
I had a kitchen years ago that started as drab mahogany cabinets.... I refinished them creamy white with black handles and black accents in the space. Several years later I refinished the cabinets again - this time in a satin finish onyx black {the soft side of black}. I had large square black and white floor tile laid on the diagonal which gave the space the wow factor.
I LOVED that look and have never been afraid of painting a wall black or refinishing wood in black. White pops the look and bold colours make the space sing. You can't go wrong with black and white.

Wow believe it or not I could go for black and white too! I love the bedroom- it's really stunning! I love those curtains in that office- very chic! I've wanted a white kitchen for a long time. The black is such a classic look with the white.
I love black and white, obviously. ;) Many of these were inspiration pics for my own home and I just never tire of seeing them. Such a classic, but with a little bit of drama.
